Hotel Review: Estadia Hotel, Melaka

It's always good to experience the local way whilst on your travels. When in Melaka, immerse yourself in all things Peranakan by staying at Estadia Hotel where you can experience Nyonya food and Peranakan heritage.  It is also conveniently located near Malacca city centre and popular tourist attractions, which is a major plus point for us.

Estadia Hotel Melaka

This Peranakan-themed luxury boutique hotel boasts 196 rooms and suites. We stayed in the Estadia Deluxe Suite which is tastefully appointed with modern amenities as well as Peranakan touches through its furnishings and furniture. At 62 sqm, the spacious suite comes with two bedrooms and a living area, which can comfortably accommodate our family of four. Each bedroom comes with an ensuite bathroom with shower and there are a total of 3 LED television in the suite (ie one in each room).  There is also a mini kitchenette with coffee/tea making facilities. Guests can also enjoy complimentary high speed WiFi during their stay.

The Master bedroom comes with a king-sized bed

Breakfast is served daily at Makan Nyonya; the buffet spread includes noodles, nasi lemak, egg counter, cereal and pastries. For lunch and dinner, you can check out the Nyonya food offerings via their a la carte menu or their value-for-money set meals. We particularly loved the Nyonya fish head, ayam pongteh and cendol here.

We took the opportunity to explore the city by foot since Estadia Hotel is within walking distance to famous attractions in Melaka such as A'Famosa, St Paul's Church, Red Square (Christ Church Melaka), Menara Taming Sari as well as Jonker Street. There are also several shopping malls in the vicinity such as Elements Mall, Dataran Pahlawan and Mahkota Parade.

Estadia Hotel is approximately 15 minute walk to Jonker Street.

Since our hotel was so close to the tourist attractions, we got here super early after breakfast and managed to avoid the crowds... definitely pays to be an early bird! :)

Hotel lobby is located on Level 3 and you can access the car park from the same level. The hotel shares the same car park as Hatten Hotel. In the hotel, you can also find a Fitness Studio on Level 4 for your daily workouts.
