At Convo Restaurant & Bar, the pork-free menu features a wide range of Western fusion appetizers, salads, pizzas, pasta and mains and desserts. The dishes are quite generously portioned, so they're perfect for sharing.
To start, we recommend the Convo wings (RM19.90) - deep fried crispy wings coated in their signature honey plum sauce. Sweet and tangy - I really liked the batter on the wings too, which reminded me of the Korean-style wings.
The Chicken quesadilla (RM22.90) were also very nice - soft tortilla with smoked duck, tomatoes, black olive, balsamic onion, cheese and an unusual Malaysian twist - asam pedas sauce.
The calamari rings (RM23.90) didn't quite do it for me as they were slightly tough and chewy.
Mary had a little lamb (RM65.90) which ended up in my tummy. :P The Masala lamb cutlets were pretty meaty and tender and was served with a tzatziki sauce and garlic bread sticks.
Hubby's favorite dish here was the Milwaukee spring chicken (RM49.90), a whole spring chicken smoked and accompanied by a classic Caesar salad and fries.
Baby D ordered the Donald's pesto pasta, spaghetti tossed in Asian pesto and topped with smoked duck slices.
For a sweet end to our meal, we had both the churros (RM19.90) and lava delight (RM19.90). Absolutely delightful.

The location of this place reminds me of Whup Whup where you can get more per square foot space at a lower rental...and this, in turn, gives rise to better quality food for our bucks. We like! ;)
