Dim Sum @ Celestial Court, Sheraton Imperial KL

Calling all dim sum lovers! Celestial Court in Sheraton Imperial KL offers an All-You-Can-Eat Imperial Dim Sum Brunch every Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays (from 10.00am to 3.00pm). Priced at RM158 nett per person, diners can choose from over 70 dishes, including unlimited servings of delectable dim sum, as well as Cantonese a la carte delights such as soups, poultry, seafood, rice and noodles.

Without a doubt, Celestial Court serves one of the best pork-free dim sums in KL. Here, you can find a mix of traditional and innovative dim sum items with a refined touch.

Service here is top notch. Our table has been set out with activity sheets, crayons and plastic cutlery to accommodate our children. This kept them amused while waiting for our food to arrive. :)

As they operate an a la carte buffet, dishes are cooked upon order, so they arrive at your table tasting its best. To start, we had some steamed and deep fried dim sum items.

Crystal Spinach Dumpling with Prawn and Scallop topped with Caviar - delicate, beautiful and tastes delicious! The prawns were fresh and taut!

My favorite from this menu, Crab Meat Dumpling in Spicy Vinegar Soy - the combination of salty, spicy and tangy flavours were fantastic!

Signature Mini Abalone Siew Mai - our kids favorite! The siew mai was so juicy, who says siew mai without pork isn't good? This will definitely prove critics wrong. We had to reorder another portion for the kids as they liked it so much.

Prawn and Banana Roll served with Wasabi Mayo - the rolls are coated in oats and deep fried, giving it a lovely, crispy texture. Inside are whole prawns and sweet bananas - pretty good!

Celestial Court Squid Ink "Har Kao" - the dumpling skin is brushed with gold powder for a touch of elegance. Beautifully delicate skin, and plump juicy prawns within. Excellent!

Crispy River Prawn with Salt and Pepper - so crispy, you can eat it whole, skin and all.

Signature Roasted Duck - we requested for duck breast. Tender and succulent, with a lovely crispy skin. The kids loved this too!

Crystal Vegetarian Dumpling with Truffle Oil Essence - the orange-hued dumplings are filled with assorted chopped mushrooms, steamed and then topped with truffle oil. The aroma of the truffle oil was pretty pungent (which I love). A really good vegetarian dumpling.

Seafood Grouper Dumpling with Century Egg and Asparagus, with XO sauce and Pumpkin Puree - the prettiest looking one, with a multitude of colours and flavours. The pickled chilli and onion on top helps cut through some of the richness of the pumpkin puree.

Deep Fried Wonton served with sweet and sour sauce - hot and crispy, with a prawn filling. What's not to love?

From the Imperial Dim Sum Brunch menu, diners will also get to order one serving of the luxury crafted delights. During our visit, the dishes were double boiled soup with ginseng and abalone, as well as wok baked green lobster with chilli lemongrass sauce. We both had the latter - I was well-impressed with the size of the lobsters, which was also meaty and fresh. Delicious!

For dessert, we had the steamed custard lava bun. This is BabySumoKids favorite dessert when having dim sum and the ones here definitely gets their seal of approval.

An assortment of cold desserts

Osmanthus Jelly with Aloe Vera

Chilled Cream of Mango with Pomelo and Sago

Black Glutinous Rice Cream with Assorted Fruits
