From 6 June to 6 July 2016, Gobo Chit Chat in Traders Hotel KL will be running their Juadah Selera Malaysia buffet dinner promotion in conjunction with the Ramadan month.
Priced at RM125 nett per adult for the 1st and 2nd week and RM135 nett per adult for the 3rd and 4th week, the buffet dinner will feature a wide range of local and international cuisine, with emphasis on local Malay cuisine that 'Grandma' would prepare during the village festivities.
Break fast with a variety of Arabic dates, and then start your meal with a variety of kerabu as well as ulam-ulaman. Next, why not warm up with a hearty bowl of their signature sup lembu gearbox or bubur lambuk? There will also be a sashimi and sushi counter during this promotional period.
Not to be missed here is the roasted whole lamb with briyani. The meat was tender and went beautifully with the fragrant briyani rice. Another favorite of mine is the deep fried quail.
Other mains available are the chicken rendang, sambal prawns with petai, ayam percik Muar, Penang murtabak, lok lok steamboat delights, satay, and gulai kawah, which you can enjoy with either the lemang, roti jala, ketupat or nasi hujan panas.
For desserts, indulge in the Malay kuih, assorted local fruits, rojak or ais kacang as well as free-flow Häagen-Dazs ice cream, with over 10 flavours to choose from. While feasting on the spread, you will be entertained by the soothing sounds of the gamelan performance.
