Haha we can have "sakura" in KL too! :P
While browsing their a la carte menu, I was attracted to the chirashi don which was priced at RM38. Since the kids like chawanmushi and miso soup usually with their Japanese meal, I decided to go for the set lunch at RM45. The chirashi don came with an assortment of seafood which was fresh - there was scallop, kampachi, salmon, tuna, prawn, crabsticks and tobiko as well as avocado and cucumber. The set also comes with appetizer, salad, pickled and fruit.
However, upon exiting the restaurant, we noticed on their electronic board that they also offer bara chirashi here for RM20 - was a bit annoyed that this was not on the menu offered to us. For that price, I would have definitely gone for the bara chirashi, like the one I usually have in Hanaya, which is ace.
Chirashi zushi teishoku (RM45)
Hubby had the Inaniwa udon Sushi Teishoku (RM40), which comes with 5 types of sushi and a bowl of handmade noodles. Their appetizer consists of seaweed plus marinated scallop lips (chuka hotate).
