Ramadan Buffet 2016 in KL & Selangor

This year, Ramadan will start on 6 June 2016 and run for 30 days until 5 July 2016. I have compiled a list of Ramadan Buffets in KL and Selangor, highlighting the special dishes offered and price. The list be will be in ascending order, from lowest to highest priced.

Highlights: 138 of the most popular, classic Malay dishes, including Gerai Makanan Tradisi dan Selera Kampung, featuring unique and special Malay dishes from different states such as Tongkeng Ayam Goreng Bercili, Daging Salai Masak Lemak Bachang and Kupang Masak Rampai.

Highlights: Over 100 selections such as kambing masak kurma kentang, ayam masak lemak daun cekor, ikan tenggiri gulai kampung, udang sambal petai, ikan bakar, kambing golek with briyani Pak Arab, satay Kajang, ayam percik, gulai kawah and bubur lambuk.

Highlights: Over 100 local selections including tantalising fish head curry, flower crabs in pounded chillies, roasted lamb, keropok lekor, oxtail soup and the chef’s highlight, nasi kandar as well as a selection of Malay hot dishes such as spring chicken with briyani spices, daging masak kicap, ikan patin tempoyak and kambing masak merah.

Highlights: Over 150 mouth-watering dishes ranging from local and traditional Malaysian delicacies to Arabic, Japanese and Western cuisine such as sup gearbox, nasi Bukhara ayam, daging rendang tok, roasted whole lamb, lemang bakar, bubur durian dengan pulut, sago gula melaka.

Highlights: Laksa Johor, nasi minyak rendang tok, asam pedas daging tetel, udang masak lemak cili padi, apam balik, as well as kerabu, assortments of ulam kampong and jeruk, bubor lambok ayam and gulai kawah tulang rusuk, gulai ikan tongkol, rendang pedas ayam, ketam berlado, tempoyak ikan, rojak pasembur, as well as desserts such as putu piring, tapai pulut, tepung pelita, and “dusun” stall featuring tropical fruits and fresh durians.

Highlights: Sup gearbox, various seafood on ice, ikan bakar with bumbu spice, nasi briyani gam daging / ayam / kambing, sambal petai with sotong, ketam masak lemak cili padi, gulai kawah, lamb varural, rendang tok, aneka kari lautan and BBQ lamb.They also have keropok lekor as well as 18 flavours of Baskin Robbins ice cream and durian.
