Located on the busy street of SS15 Subang, the restaurant is modern with an open kitchen at the front, showcasing the making of the restaurant's specialty, chapati. The restaurant offers three types of chapati; plain (RM2), butter (RM2.50) and ghee (RM2.50), as well as twelve types of prontha (which we know better as paratha, a flatbread with various stuffings such as cheese, paneer, aloo and more).
Chapati - light, tasty and healthy!
Butter chapati
The a la carte menu is vast, ranging from tandoori, dal, chicken, mutton, fish, briyani, homemade paneer and vegetarian dishes, so we were grateful that their friendly service staff very kindly explained and recommended some of their bestselling dishes to us.
We went for the classics, the Butter Chicken (RM22.90) and Mutton Rogan Josh (RM25.90), along with side orders of Aloo Gobi Masala (RM13.90), Cheese Garlic Naan (RM11.90) and Jeera Pulao (RM3). Everything was simply delicious and well-spiced.
The butter chicken is a mild, creamy curry, so it's perfect for kids and for those who can't take food that is too spicy. Rogan josh is my personal favorite curry; chunks of tender mutton in an aromatic curry. Our meal here brought back so many good memories of our days enjoying a good Indian meal in the UK.
Butter chicken - just can't get enough of this delicious curry!
Rogan josh
Cheese Garlic Naan - Cheesy goodness, a must-order!
Jeera Pulao (spiced with cumin seeds)
For drinks, we highly recommend the thick Mango Lassi (RM7.90), made using homemade yogurt. They also have Punjabi Tea or Masala Tea here.
