On weekdays, the buffet dinner is priced at RM88 nett per adult. What we like best about the buffet is the live interactive kitchens, whereby we can choose the raw ingredients and the chefs will cook them a la minute, ensuring best tasting, freshly cooked dishes.
The kids zoomed in on the satay, which were hot off the grill - both the chicken and beef satay were excellent. Meanwhile, we selected some fish and quail (burung puyuh) which was placed on the charcoal grill for cooking. I also selected some fish to be cooked asam pedas style, a specialty in the town of Melaka.
Appetizers (ulam, kerabu and salads)
The kids enjoyed their grilled fish and went back for seconds, and the asam pedas was really good with white rice. It was mouthwateringly spicy. :)
On the buffet spread in the Malay kitchen, other dishes to be found during our visit was daging masak hitam, bamboo clam sambal and ayam goreng serai.
From the Nyonya and Chinese kitchen, we were delighted to find fresh la la clams (Baby D and I are la la lovers!). After selecting the clams, the chef cooked it in kam heong sauce.... so tasty!
Noodle station
For desserts, diners can choose from a selection of pastries, cakes and local kuih. Our favorite was the strawberry soft serve ice cream. :)
Overall, we had a very enjoyable dinner here. Although the variety is not massive, the taste of the dishes were good and service is also friendly.
