One of our regular lunch places is Madam Chiam Curry Noodle House; we love going there to get our pan mee cravings fixed. They have recently moved next door to No.22 and the new space is larger and brighter.
For the kids, we ordered a soup pan mee with fishballs (RM5.50), and they managed to finish it between them. For me, it's usually a toss between the curry pan mee or dry chilli pan mee, but since they didn't have any cockles (siham) that day, I went for the latter... small for me (RM6.10), and extra large for Hubby (RM7.40).
Over the few years we've eaten here, the noodle texture has been consistently good and the soft boiled egg has truly been perfected. I also like that they serve half a calamansi lime with each bowl of noodles - love the slight appetizing tang it gives to the noodles overall.
Opening times: 7am to 4pm.Closed on Mondays. Check their FB page for info on closed days.
Price: Total bill RM28.60, including two fresh juices.
Location: Madam Chiam Curry Noodle House, No.22 Jalan Cerdik, Taman Connaught, Cheras, 56000 KL, Malaysia.

ReplyDeleteNoodles galore. Ya, where's the curry mee? Seems like that's the signature dish of the house.
ReplyDeletegood to hear about a place that has remained consistently satisfying through the years --- here's hoping they'll be around for many more years :)
