For our after dinner snack, we visited the famous P.S.L. Goreng Pisang 炸香蕉 which was recommended by one of our friends. You can choose from banana fritters, spring rolls, nian gao with sweet potato and fried cempedak. I asked how much each piece was, and was told they are priced according to size.
The banana fritters had a nice, crisp batter and were soft and sweet on the inside. I was pleasantly surprised to find fried cempedak here as we don't see them often in KL these days.
Opening times: 12pm - 9pm.
Price: Total bill RM7 for 5 items.
Location: PSL Goreng Pisang, 85, Jalan Pasar, 34000 Taiping, Perak (Street parking).
