London is divided geographically, and smack bang in the centre is West one (W1), which includes Soho, Chinatown and Mayfair. With a culturally diverse population, this area is home to a great variety of cuisine, and W1's food menu showcases just that; from traditional English dishes and adaptation of international dishes, along with incredible cocktails to boot.
Start your meal with the jiaozi (RM16), juicy duck dumplings with black vinegar, mushroom XO sauce. Absolutely bursting with flavour, it's no wonder these fantastic little morsels are a firm favorite with diners.
At W1, you can also find some great vegetarian dishes, proving that vegetarian food doesn't have to be boring. The chefs here are pretty flexible too, and are able to make them vegan at customer's request. Our favorite was the Twice baked cheese souffle (RM24) with creamy mushroom sauce and chunky toast. Rich and velvety with great flavours, this was so moreish, I wanted more.
Hubby's favorite was the Roasted carrots (RM22) with cauliflower rice, tahini, pistachio, currants and brown butter. A deceptively simple dish, done very well.
If you love avocado, W1 serves it grilled, with burnt onion puree, quinoa, toasted seeds and chilli oil, for a spicy kick.

New on the menu is the Pan seared seabass (RM38) with tangy lime, ginger, orange and greens. The seabass was beautifully cooked; moist with crispy skin and the tangy dressing complements it well.
You can also get a good bowl of noodles here - homemade, no less, served with spicy duck confit, Sichuan chili oil and black vinegar.

Their menu also offers typical British food such as fish and chips, tikka masala (with butterfish), prawn cocktail and scotch egg. For dessert, we had the Sticky Cola pudding (RM20) with chocolate caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream as well as the Cheesecake Smash (RM22) from their Christmas menu.
Not to be missed are their delicious cocktails, including London classics, W1 cocktails, Pimm's and Gin specials. There is also a Happy Hour daily from 5pm to 8pm as well Nookie (Ladies) Night every Wednesday from 9pm to 1am.
Pimm's and Gilbert & Sullivan (RM36) [Tanqueray gin, vanilla and lemon]
Primrose Hill (RM30), rose wine, vodka, vanilla syrup
