Funtopia Malaysia, SS15 Courtyard, Subang Jaya

After seeing how much our kids enjoyed themselves at Go Ape during our summer holidays in Scotland, we tried looking for a similar activity back here in KL for them to enjoy. I know of Skytrex in Shah Alam, however we shall save that for when the weather is less hot. When Hubby stumbled upon Funtopia on the Internet and told me it's located in an air-conditioned mall, I was sold immediately!

Funtopia is located in SS15 Courtyard Mall on the 1st Floor. The entry fee is RM24 per child on weekday for all attractions for 1 hour.  Once you have registered and paid, your child will be equipped with a safety harness and hats and first taken around the Rope Course.

The children then get the option of choosing which wall to climb or any activity they are interested to try, and the staff will assist in setting them up. So far we've visited Funtopia twice, both times on a weekday. On our first visit, our kids enjoyed themselves more as the person-in-charge was much more helpful; he would guide them and give them encouragement whenever they got stuck on a certain climbing wall. I liked the way he spoke to the kids and gave them confidence to try out new things. I also think that your children need to be a certain height for them to enjoy most of the play area (we noticed Daniel struggling with some of the walls cos his legs were not "long enough" lol).

One of their favorites would be the giant slide, very very fun! And they look so adorable and funny in the oversized coveralls.

There is also a Magic Maze (softplay area) for the younger kids to play in - this is also included in the price you choose the All Attractions ticket. When it's not too busy, the staff will let your kids play there as long as they like.

Funtopia is not only suitable for kids, adults can pay to join too if they like. A place I would highly recommend to parents for some fun and adventure for their kids.
