We were invited here earlier this week to sample the lunch offerings. There is a good selection of starters such as grilled zucchini, asparagus, brinjal, roasted peppers, marinated mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, cheese as well as salads and cold cuts.
My fav vegetables, lightly grilled! So yum.
For mains, diners can choose from 5 items - filet mignon, pan seared seabass papillote, braised lamb, braised short ribs, and chicken coq au vin. And we got to try 4 out of 5 of them ;)
Braised lamb with mashed potato, mesclun salad, mint jelly and lamb jus
We started off with the filet mignon, served with a delicious truffle risotto, buttered vegetable and Bordelaise sauce. Very beautifully presented and a great combination of flavours and textures. I especially loved the risotto, very nicely prepared with a heady aroma from the truffle oil.
Next up was the coq au vin, a braised chicken drumstick which was tender and flavorful. Served with a really smooth mashed potato with a touch of truffle oil.
This was another favorite of mine, braised short ribs - the meat was tender, flavorful and falling off the bone. Just how it should be.
The seabass cooked en papillote (in parchment) was light and moist, perfect for those wanting a healthier option. Served with that amazing mashed potato.
Diners can then help themselves to endless desserts - cakes, chocolate fountain and more.

Verdict: Nice portions for lunch, great tasting and excellent value.
Available on weekdays only (mondays to Fridays) from 12.00 noon to 2.30 pm.
Opening hours: Lunch 12.00pm to 2.30pm; Dinner 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
