At Lecoco, the coconut takes centre stage and is used in the majority of their dishes in different forms - coconut flesh, coconut oil, coconut milk, coconut water and coconut nectar. Located in Plaza Arkadia in Desa ParkCity, this fairly new restaurant's menu features a variety of coconut cuisine as well as hotpot buffet.
Lecoco offers a wide range of healthy specialty dishes such as clams, prawns and whole fish / fish slice steamed with coconut juice. For the steamed whole fish, diners can choose either Lecoco's signature sauce (spicy/non-spicy) and Creamy tom yum sauce with fresh pineapple. We had the Steamed Whole Seabass (RM8.90 per 100g), with Lecoco's signature sauce which is made with coconut nectar, chicken broth, garlic and fresh coriander. Loved the spicy sauce with an appetizing sourish tinge, which paired beautifully with the fresh, meaty fish. We happily devoured it all :)
Our whole family loved the Steamed boneless chicken with cordycep mushrooms (RM16.90). For this dish, chicken leg is used as it is more moist and juicy, and is steamed alongside goji berry, coconut flesh, chicken broth and cordycep mushroom.
We also had the Fresh hot seafood in Lecoco signature sauce (RM28.90), which featured fresh prawn, clams and squid in a creamy, slightly spicy sauce made from galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime, bird's eye chilli and coconut cream.
Another must-try dish here is the Pandan Nasi Lemak Ayam Bakar set (RM22.90). The nasi lemak was wonderfully rich and fragrant, thanks to the 100% pure pandan juice and fresh coconut milk used. Crispy fried ikan bilis, peanuts, cucumber slices, half a boiled egg, spicy-sweet sambal and a whole chicken leg marinated in Balinese spices, lemongrass, shallots and coconut creme and grilled over hot charcoal embers.
Salted egg lovers should try the Lecoco King Prawns (RM38 for 2 pcs), fresh large king prawns coated in their rich, creamy signature salted egg and coconut milk sauce. They also serve extra sauce on the side, to be eaten with the fried mantau... sinful!
Lecoco's coconut infused pasta dishes are also popular with guests here. There are over 10 pasta dishes to choose from - we had the Coconut Breeze (RM19.90), spaghetti with boneless chicken thigh, broccoli and a creamy coconut sauce with kaffir lime and lemongrass.
For hotpot lovers, Lecoco offers a hotpot buffet daily for both lunch and dinner. The lunch buffet is priced at RM35.90, dinner at RM38.90 and public holidays at RM45.90. Choose two from 4 types of soup available, the Chicken broth with fresh coconut juice, Creamy coconut soup with kaffir lime and ginger flower, Nyonya curry laksa and Tom yam with coconut juice and lemongrass. Enjoy unlimited servings of homemade meatballs, dumplings, yong tau foo, seafood (prawn, mussels, clams, fish, bamboo clam), meat (chicken, lamb, beef) and fried items (you tiao, crispy suikow, HK bean curd skin roll, Japanese tofu, fish head). The buffet also comes with free flow drinks and homemade ice-cream (vanilla bean, lemon yogurt, coconut and rich chocolate).
Salad bar is also available at an additional RM10 per person
Customize your own dipping sauces
Coco Nectar (RM10.90) - pure coconut milk, coconut flesh, premium vanilla ice cream, 100% pure coconut nectar. Delish!
End your meal on a sweet note with the Lecoco Cendol (RM12.90), using 100% pure coconut nectar and coconut milk, served with red bean, pandan cendol and homemade coconut ice cream.

These days, they are singing praises of the coconut, all the health benefits. I love masak lemak anything...and nasi lemak, provided the rice is truly lemak with enough santan - most are a disgrace, not worthy of the name, not lemak at all.
ReplyDeleteAAAAHHHH!!! i love, love, love coconut! def dragging booboo here to try this with me! :D
