There are a total of 167 rooms and suites in the hotel; from a 25m² Superior room to a 70m² ANSA Suite to suit every budget and requirement. We stayed in the ANSA Deluxe room (32m²), which have recently been refreshed, so the rooms are sleek and functional with a modern wood interior.
The rooms are well-appointed and spacious, with either a king-sized bed or twin (single) beds, work desk, 32" flat screen LCD TV, tea/coffee making facilities, minibar and complimentary WiFi. Guests can also order and request in-house delivery from the Starbucks downstairs.
One of the facilities which we found very useful was the complimentary “handyphone”; a smartphone which you can bring with you when exploring the city for navigation, as well as surfing the internet as it comes with unlimited data usage. Overseas guests can also keep in touch with their families as it comes with free IDD calls to China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan and Singapore.
The city's best shopping malls (Pavilion KL, Fahrenheit 88, Lot 10, Starhill Gallery, Sungei Wang, Berjaya Times Square) as well as restaurants are within easy reach from the hotel. For those wanting to venture further afield, the MRT link and monorail is just a short 1-min walk away or hop on the KL Hop-On Hop-Off & Go KL City Bus to explore more of the city.
Worth highlighting as well are the superb hotel staff who were polite and helpful, always greeting us with a smile at the hotel lobby.
Breakfast is served at Oldthentic Cafe, whereby guests have a choice of either a local (Nasi Lemak) or Western set, along with coffee, tea, toast and cereal. Alternatively, you can explore the area for some fantastic eats (click here to see where we went for breakfast). Jalan Alor, one of KL's most popular spot for street food is just a 10-min walk away.
Greyhound Cafe located at the hotel lobby is a great spot for people watching and enjoying modern Thai cuisine. Cool, trendy vibes with good service and great food.
Families staying at ANSA can opt for the "Family Getaway" package which comes with accommodation with daily breakfast, plus entrance to the Museum of Illusions. Rates start from RM390 per room per night.

Great location, have not stayed in that area for a while since the time when it was a mess owing to some on-going construction. Must KIV this place for my next visit...
