Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon at Sunway Lagoon, Malaysia - Now OPEN!

Last year, during our numerous visits to Sunway Lagoon, we would often see signboards stating that "Asia's 1st Nickelodeon Themed Land in Sunway Lagoon" would be opening soon in 2015. We were delighted to learn that Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon was finally open when we visited Sunway Lagoon at the beginning of this month ;)

Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon is a tropical sanctuary and home to a fabled lost civilisation that revered everything SpongeBob SquarePants. The jungles of Nickelodeon’s Lost Lagoon are rife with exhilarating water slides tucked amongst the trees offering visitors a unique opportunity, to play in the serenity and surprise of a land lost in time.

We arrived early to catch the opening dance at the main entrance at 9.55am. Here's a photo of us with the dancers after their performance

Decided to walk the whole length of the Malaysia's Longest Pedestrian Suspension Bridge.. yes, all 428m of it! You get a good view of the whole resort from up here.

Then, we walked over to Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon, which is located right next to the Wildlife Park. You know you've arrived when you come across all things Spongebob..

We spent a good couple of hours here, lots and lots of fun slides here as well as Giant Aqua Tube Rides, Water Spray Area as well as a daily signature slime deluge. Watch out for the giant tumbling bucket of water!

Lots and lots of fun rides here... BabySumoKids loved this Moolalah Adventure River ride, they went on this over and over again!

  1. Place sure looks a lot nicer than in the 90's when I slipped on the slippery tiled floor upon entering and broke my arm. I hope they have hand rails now at all their staircases or sides to hold on to.
