We did a couple of Italian themed dinner nights, and our family enjoyed it very much. On both evenings, we put together a cold cut platter, featuring porchetta, mortadella, salami fillano, salami Milano, beef bresaola and my favorite, Parma ham - cured for 22 months (RM17.44 per 100g) :) These cold cuts are good eaten on its own, and we also tried making an antipasto using the bresaola as well as some marinated artichokes.
Bottega also supplied us with 6 types of cheese - Parmigiano Reggiano, Gorgonzola, Tallegio, Fontina, Asiago as well as Burrata (RM15.30). I was super excited to see Burrata on the list, as it is one cheese we cannot find at the supermarkets here.
Some other goodies: grissini, orange soda, Italian giant green olives, marinated artichokes, grilled pepper, sun dried tomatoes, taralli, gnocchi, fusilletti, and penne
Our favorite product of them all is the white truffle butter (RM31.80 for 75g). The aroma is simply amazing, and it is fair to say that this is our current favorite butter :)
Opening times: Mon-Fri 10am-8pm, Sat 10am-6pm. Closed on Sun.
Location: Bottega Mediterranea, No. 1A, Jalan Ceylon, 50200 Kuala Lumpur.
