How to Throw a Minecraft Themed Birthday Party

Another year, another lockdown birthday. However, we still made the most of it and still managed to throw an amazing Minecraft themed birthday party for my boy.

If you're planning to throw a Minecraft party for your kids (works for adults too!), here are some cool, easy ideas on Minecraft party decorations, birthday cake and food!

DJ Dan loves Minecraft (the video game); here are some of the things we made for his birthday party (mostly by Hubby who is the master craftsman in our family):

💚 Lifesize Minecraft Steve (made from recycled cardboard, coloured paper and some poster colour)
💚 Minecraft cake (designed by the birthday boy, cake toppers by him also)
💚 Diamond helmet for DJ Dan and his penguin soft toy
💚 Minecraft Creeper Pinata (with a DJ touch)
💚 Minecraft tools (sword, pickaxe, axe)
💚 Minecraft chest and treasure hunt
💚 Pixel beef sliders (square buns, square beef patties, cheese, tomato, lettuce)

Not Minecraft related, but this is what birthday boy requested for his birthday dinner. :)

Atlas Gourmet Market, KL: Merdeka Specials

 Merdeka64 may be over, but you can still enjoy the Merdeka Specials from Atlas Gourmet Market, up until 18 September 2021. From local specialties to Western favourites with an Asian twist, there is something to suit every tastebud.

One of my favourite Malaysian rice dishes and this was so good, with the juicy, flavorful ayam goreng berempah!

♥ Atlas Pizzeria: Lemak-licious pizza (cili api lemak turkey ham & pumpkin) (RM38)

Great pizza with a Malaysian twist. Thin, crispy base and generous amount of topping including turkey ham, prawns and brinjal. 

♥ Atlas Pizzeria: Flaming kerabu squid spaghetti (RM25)

Generous amount of squid, great tangy flavours. 

♥ Atlas Bistro: Filet de Bouef ala Japonaise (Japanese red miso pan roasted beef fillet, potato terrine, broccolini and porcini jus) (RM64)

Beautifully cooked to medium rare perfection. So tender and complemented well by the porcini jus.
