Flight Experience Kuala Lumpur: Junior Jet Flights for Kids!

Fancy being a pilot for a day? Head over to Flight Experience Kuala Lumpur, located on Level 2 of Pavilion KL to fulfil that dream of yours.

Flight Experience™ is the world leader in flight simulation entertainment. With 16 locations in nine different countries, Flight Experience is the most professional and exciting experience of its type.

Over here at the KL outlet, there are seven packages to choose from; from a 30-minute Scenic Flight to a Multi-Ultimate 90 minute experience. There is even a special Junior Jet Flight package for children under 12 years old.

The experience starts off with a short video, before the kids are led to the cockpit of the Boeing 737 simulator to take command as captain and fly. The Boeing 737 is the world's most popular jet airliner and the flight simulator features a full scale cockpit layout, instruments and systems as well high definition (HD) 180 degree panoramic visuals as well as immersion experience with sound and vibration.

The 20-minute Junior Jet experience will include take-off, circuit of their favorite airport and then landing the plane.  During your visit, you will be guided by an experienced staff (ours was a qualified pilot) who will brief your child throughout the experience. They can choose between a "fun" or "educational" flight, and both our kids went for the fun option. Baby D went first and flew us to London Heathrow, then Baby C took us to Tokyo next for some sushi! :D

The kids' co-pilot, Jun, was very professional and great at making the kids feel at ease and did a good job at explaining all the different functions and controls on the simulator. We could see how excited the kids were throughout the whole experience and they clearly had lots of fun. Definitely recommended for aviation buffs or anyone looking for a fun, educational activity for their kids!
