Hailing from Hong Kong, Wagyu More is an All-you-can-eat Japanese Shabu-Shabu buffet restaurant offering unlimited beef, pork, chicken along with a variety of vegetables, hot food, sushi, meatballs, drinks and desserts, with prices starting from RM28.80++ per person.
The restaurant has a lovely casual vibe, with their adorable, vibrant mascots Red More and Blue More appearing across their walls.
Each table will have either two single or a communal pot and diners can choose up to two soup bases per table. Wagyu More serves eight varieties of soup base: kombu, sukiyaki, miso, tomato, pork bone, spicy pork bone, kimchi and Japanese curry. We chose the miso and pork bone, which were tasty and perfect for those dining with kids. Wagyu More definitely takes children's safety seriously as the hotpots have a wooden insulation to avoid children from burning themselves on the pots. Great - one less thing for parents to worry about!
Don't forget to drink up at the end of the meal... the soup is so sweet from all the meat and vegetable cooking!
Wagyu More handpicks top quality meats, including premium cuts such as Australian Wagyu, Japanese A5 Wagyu and Spanish Iberico pork to ensure a top notch dining experience for their customers. Meats are sliced to order to maintain freshness and diners can place their meat orders from the staff whenever they're ready to have more. Free flow vegetables, meatballs, sushi, noodles, desserts and drinks are available on the buffet counters.
Japanese A5 Wagyu - look at that beautiful marbling!
At the preview, we tried several of the beef and pork cuts, including US pork loin, imported pork collar, beef chuck roll, pork belly, Australian Wagyu, Spanish Iberico pork and Japanese A5 Wagyu. My favorites were the beef chuck roll, pork belly as well as the well-marbled Australian and Japanese A5 Wagyu and Spanish Iberico pork. To go with the meats, you can make your own dipping sauce from an assortment of ingredients provided such as soy sauce, goma, chilli oil, garlic and more.
