We arrived around 8.30am and it was already super packed. Look for a table (it's common to be asked to share a table here) and one of the staff will come to take your order. You can specify what type of noodles you would like and whether you would like it served dry (konlo) or in soup. Go for the large as the portion is just nice for a hearty breakfast.
We had to wait about 30-40 minutes that morning for our food. A large portion comes with three normal fishball, three fried fishball and one fish paste stuffed in tofu puff. The fishballs were nice and bouncy. We had the dry loh shi fun (rat's tail noodles); it was topped with some minced pork and scallions. Toss it together with the pork and dark sauce and slurpppppp.... it was good. Thankfully, I enjoyed my bowl of noodles, so it was worth the wait.
The boss will cook the noodles one bowl at a time

I'd love this! I love clear soup...and own-made fish balls, none of the supermarket ones for me, thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteThe loh shi fun here looks different from the norm...longish (house-made?). It's almost like lai fun (the one with assam laksa)...looks really delicious. ^_~
