Complimented with an elegant setting and a pianist playing in the background, Pavilions Lounge makes a nice, cosy spot for afternoon tea. You can choose from a wide range of TWG premium tea; I went for the Magic Flute Tea which had a lovely fruity note, while Hubby had the Grand Wedding Tea, a black tea blended with sunflowers and exotic fruits.
The three-tier stand was served to our table soon after we were seated. There were freshly baked raisin and plain scones, served with clotted cream as well as three types of sandwiches such as open-face sandwich with Scottish salmon and creme fraiche on rye bread, smoked turkey and gem lettuce mini wrap with fresh pineapple and egg white salad sandwich. On the third layer, there were desserts such as lemon curd tartlet, raspberry tartlet and macarons.
Once you have finished your three-tier cake stand, you can also check out the unlimited dessert spread which includes savouries (quiche Lorraine, chicken pot pie, risotto vegetable ball), cakes and pastries, assorted candy, chocolate fountain and homemade cookies.
Fruit tart
Chocolate mousse cake

I love a proper Afternoon Tea. There's just something so luxurious and elegant about the ritual. Your three-tier stand looks wonderful :-)
