The restaurant serves Indonesian cuisine, namely from Jawa. Their signature dish is the "ayam penyet" and other penyet dishes such as udang penyet, empal penyet, lele penyet and bakso penyet. According to their menu, their signature penyet dishes uses fresh ingredients and are marinated with spices such as turmeric, cumin, candlenut, onions, coriander and more. After it has been deep fried, it will be smashed (aka "dipenyetkan") and served.

Hubby had the sup rawon (RM5.30), a traditional Indonesian spiced beef soup which he used to eat often when he was working in Indonesia. He ordered an extra plate of white rice and added it to the soup. Comfort food!

I was just thinking about keropok lekor earlier that day, so when we walked past Ah Cheng Laksa on LG Floor and saw that they offered it on their menu, we simply couldn't resist. 8 pieces for RM6.90.
