Start your celebratory meal with the yee sang toss, also known as 'lo hei'. We had the Norwegian Salmon Fish Yu Sheng with Assorted Pickled Vegetables and Shredded Fresh Fruit and Plum Sauce. You can also takeaway the yee sang and celebrate in the comfort of your home. Toppings include sliced abalone, crispy soft shell crab, snow pear, jelly fish, or fresh fruit, with prices starting from RM88 nett for a half portion.

One of our favorite dishes of the evening was this Roasted Corn Fed Chicken, served with a spicy onion sauce. Serving a whole chicken during CNY symbolises prosperity and togetherness of the family. The chicken was moist and tender and I especially loved the crispy skin.
True to its name, the Fragrant Golden Jin Sha Style Spicy Slipper Lobster was wonderfully aromatic. The slipper lobster was topped with a beautiful spicy sauce alike kam heong.
I was happy to see two types of scallops on the menu! First to arrive was the Wok-fried fresh scallop and shrimps with macadamia nuts and sweet bean. Simple yet incredibly delicious! The macadamia nuts adds a very nice touch to this dish.
Next, we had the Braised abalone shell meat with scallop and black mushroom in supreme oyster sauce. The abalone symbolises definite good fortune for the new year.
We were served another seafood dish, the Seasonal vegetable with morel mushroom topped with diced seafood. Chef Ho tells us that the morel mushrooms are cleaned and then steamed for two hours, until they are tender. It is then served alongside diced seafood such as crab meat, prawn, scallops and crab roe.
For dessert, we had the homemade nian gao, coated with egg and then pan fried. It is considered good luck to eat nian gao during this time, because ‘nian gao’ is a homonym for “higher year”.

Dim Sum Chef, Ken Liew has also created a special home-made ‘Nian Gao’, shaped as Koi Fish that symbolizes good fortune, success, prosperity and longevity. It is available in 2 different size packages – Twin Koi Fish priced at RM 88 nett per pack or 1-large Single Koi Fish priced at RM 118 nett per box.
