Since Hubby likes their curry potato, he decided to try the newly added Paratha with Curry Potato (RM4.90). Paratha is an Indian flatbread, very similar to our roti canai. The paratha here was good, it had a crisp exterior while remaining soft on the inside. The curry potato as usual was rich and thick, and went really well with the paratha. This definitely beats the Curry Potato with Toast we had here previously.
As usual, he ordered some Curry Samosas (RM5.20), hot from the deep fryer with a not-too-spicy filling.. yum!
Since we had our little one with us today, I ordered something which we could share, Dry Egg Noodles (aka Wantan Mee) (RM5.90), which came with some fried wantans in soup. The wantan mee was springy and the wantans were tasty. Other variations sold here include BBQ chicken topping, noodle in soup and curry noodle.
For me, one of the things they do best at Old Town is their ice-blended coffee drinks. Hubby tried the new Old Town White Coffee Signature Freeze (RM8.90), which is their ice blended coffee with added Oreo bits, topped with whipped cream. I don't even drink coffee, but I couldn't resist stealing a sip or two (or was it 10?) because it was so good. Pure indulgence.
