To kick it off, we present to you The LINC, located in Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur. One of the newest lifestyle malls in KL, you can find various cool murals, artwork, art installations as well as a 100-year old Bodhi tree, preserved right in the centre of the mall.
1. Peace Doves
41,600 origami doves made from 40 colours form this beautiful art installation. These doves symbolise peace, love, harmony and unity.
Location: Level 2
No time to go to Batu Caves to take a picture with the colorful steps? No worries - there is one here at The Linc KL too. We've been told that the black fixtures are actually tables, though many mistaken it for chairs.
Location: Between Level 1 and 2 (outside De.Wan 1958 by Chef Wan)
3. Lots of nice murals
This is my favourite - a giant mural of an owl, by local artist Amarul Abdullah. Overlooking a giant tree under the moon.
Location: Outside Ben's Independent Grocer.
Great use of the "red round fire hose reel" by the artist ... first you have an octopus ...
Location: Level 2 (balcony)
And then the rafflesia, a parasitic flowering plant found in Southeast Asia.
Proboscis monkey and a leopard (I think).
4. 100-year old giant tree
Enjoy the nature in The Linc, as a 100-year old Bodhi trees and various other trees are preserved in the centre of the mall. So awesome!
A hornbill perched on one of the "branches"
Bird house
You've got mail... colorful letterboxes
Location: Near carpark (exit opposite to Frangipani Bulk)
6. Beautiful walls
Lots of beautiful, tropical walls such as this one inside De.Wan 1958 by Chef Wan restaurant... however, please do respect the diners and only take a photo here if you are a restaurant patron.
Location: Level 2
