Stickhouse is an international chain specialising in Italian handcrafted gelato, with 60 stores located in Italy, Bahrain, China, Singapore, Malaysia and more. On 1 May 2013, Stickhouse opened its latest outlet in The Gardens Mall and we were invited there to sample their offerings.
Stickhouse is made using 100% all natural ingredients with no artificial colouring and flavoring. That means if you buy one of their fruit-based sorbet sticks such as pineapple, dragon fruit and mango, you are eating real fruits. It is also gluten-free and no sugar is added. Zero air is added to their gelatos for a denser and creamier texture with full taste and flavours.

The gelato are made with a mix of Stickhouse bases, milk and cream. Stickhouse Malaysia's marketing manager, Cass tells us that the bestseller is the Gianduia flavour. My Top 5 pick would be hazelnut, milk, pistachio, Gianduia and green tea, with hazelnut being our utmost favorite thanks to its luxurious, creamy taste.

Milk and yogurt strawberry

Will be there around end of the month but if have to queue like that, no, thank you... I can go without.
ReplyDeleteWell even with the queue, service was very fast, since the staff just has to take the gelato out of the ice box and the customer pays.
DeleteHow much each ? I want one each of pistachio , gianduja and mango gelato , pretty please ? :p
ReplyDeleteDepends on size, but it goes from RM4.90 for mini to RM8.90 for premium flavours. Not too bad for Italian gelato.
DeleteHi Yen! We have Stick House too in Singapore but yet to try it... So what's your verdict?
ReplyDeleteI like the gelatos more than the sorbets, they have a nice creamy texture. Fav is the hazelnut flavour. ;)
DeleteI will have to check this out the next time I'm at The Gardens.
ReplyDeleteOoo, I would opt for gelato over sorbet too. Hazelnut sounds mighty fine! Wouldn't mind almond flavor too, heheh :D
ReplyDeleteOooo they look so lovely! Dragon fruit would be my stick of choice :)
