How to Make Rudolph Pancakes for Christmas

Hello everyone! A Belated Merry Christmas from us to you.. hope you had a great celebration with your loved ones.

As for us, we started off Christmas morning with these adorable Rudolph pancakes, made by Hubby. For the pancake batter, he used this trusted recipe that we've been using for years now - fluffy pancakes guaranteed everytime!

How to Make Rudolph Pancakes
Makes 6

What you need:
Pancake batter (recipe here)
Halved cherry tomato, or strawberry for red nose
Edible candy eyes
Nutella for antlers

Instructions:
Start off by making a larger round pancake base for the face, around 10cm in diameter, and then make a smaller one (around 3cm in diameter) for the nose. This was an improptu Christmas breakfast, so we used halved cherry tomatoes for Rudolph's nose, however you may also use strawberries if you have them. For the eyes, we used edible candy eyes (available from baking supply shops) and the antlers are hand-drawn directly onto the plate using Nutella. Serve with a dusting of icing sugar, salted butter and maple syrup.

The kids certainly loved this surprise breakfast. What a wonderful way to start our Christmas morning! Thanks Hubby for making these for us.
