Secret Garden Afternoon Tea: OneSixFive, InterContinental KL

Celebrate the arrival of spring with the specially curated Secret Garden Afternoon Tea at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur.

From 1 April 2019 onwards, this afternoon tea will be available at OneSixFive Lounge between 2pm to 5pm daily. Be it a girlie outing with your besties or to celebrate a special occasion, enjoy each other's company while indulging over a gorgeous view of the tranquil tropical garden with a cascading waterfall.

Guests can choose from one of two afternoon tea sets: The Traditional Set or The Asian Set. Both sets come with a selection of freshly baked raisin, citrus fig and plain scone, served with luscious Devonshire clotted cream and a range of premium jams as well as a pot of Ronnefeldt tea or premium coffee.

The Traditional Set takes you back to the grand afternoon teas fit for European royalty with its combination of sweet and savoury treats prepared fresh daily, offered in a white jewellery box. Open each drawer and discover delicious appetizing bites, such as Modern black forest cake, Chilled lemon-strawberry cake roll, Pistachio apricot dome, Duck foie gras with berry jelly on brioche and Crab mille-feuille with melon and micro greens.

Meanwhile, The Asian Set exudes 1920s Shanghai glamour, with its offering of exquisite Oriental snacks presented in a traditional bird cage. You will find delicate desserts such as the Chocolate tea pot with chrysanthemum tea cream and mango compote, Glazed pear with pistachio cream and pear compote and Japanese omochi. There will also be savoury treats, for example the Taro swan with roasted duck truffle filling, Crispy prawn flower with green ginger and Snow crab pie tee with salmon caviar.

The Secret Garden Traditional Afternoon Tea is priced at RM148 per set and the Asian Afternoon Tea is priced at RM178 per set. Add on RM85 for a glass of Champagne or RM33 for their signature Mocktail.
