Nam Heong Vintage, Pavilion Elite, KL

This long Raya break, we opted to stay back in KL and enjoy the traffic-free roads and quiet(er) malls. We were in Pavilion KL to jalan-jalan with the kids, and when lunchtime came, we let them decide what they wanted to eat... and they chose the newly opened Nam Heong Vintage, as they wanted to eat their favorite kaya toast and half boiled eggs.

The outlet in Pavilion is located on the 8th Floor in the Pavilion Elite wing. Very nice decor, and just like their other outlets, they have a tablet on every table for you to browse the menu and also to place your order.

The kids chose the Soft Boiled Egg Set (RM7.90) which comes with two eggs and kaya margarine toast. Perfectly cooked eggs and yummy toasts ;)

They also ordered the Golden Man Tau (RM6.90) with pork curry - this was as good as we remembered it. Crisp, soft buns with a delicious, thick curry to dip your man taus in. And siew mai (RM6.50) is a must-order for BabySumoKids whenever they see it on the menu.

Hubby went for the Wanton Noodles (dry with wanton in soup - RM10.90) while I had the Teeny Savory Assam Laksa - such a steal at RM3.90 per bowl. The soup was thick, generously laden with fish and so appetizing. I loved it!

We also got a FREE dessert, thanks to a special promotion ongoing in this outlet until 2nd July. The free dessert for the day was tau fu fah... smooth and yummy!
