Nam Heong Kopitiam + Ipoh Kong Heng + Restoran Thean Chun, Ipoh, Perak

After our walk in Qing Xin Ling, we decided to go for a cup of coffee. And where better than Nam Heong for the famous Ipoh white coffee. We also ordered some egg tarts and deep fried dim sum as we were feeling peckish. The coffee feels slightly stronger than the usual ones you get from their Old Town White Coffee branches and we enjoyed that.

We then went on a walk of Ipoh's old town to enjoy some sights before having our lunch.

We stopped by at Kong Heng for lunch. It was not a planned stop but we decided on this as we could try out a variety of foods at this shop. There is another shop beside Kong Heng called Thean Chun; they are separated by a small lane and you can also make orders from the other side and get served in Kong Heng. (and vice versa)

Kai see hor fun which came with chicken slices and prawn. We ordered an extra plate of bean sprouts. You really do taste the difference in the supersized bean sprouts. They are much juicier and we certainly enjoyed them quite a lot during this trip.

Our shared bounty of the day! Also includes beef noodles and satay. Out of the dishes, we felt that the beef noodles was the only average tasting dish and the others were delicious.
