Tatsu Japanese Cuisine, InterContinental KL

Tatsu Japanese Cuisine is one of the most well-loved Japanese restaurants in town. Located on the first floor of InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, the restaurant serves authentic Japanese cuisine, with the freshest seafood air-flown in twice a week from Japan.

The service here is friendly and welcoming, a great place to enjoy a family meal or a get-together with your friends. You can choose from their a la carte menu or set lunch menu, and on Saturdays, from 6pm-10pm, you can also feast on a plethora of Japanese dishes from their Japanese Buffet Dinner (priced at RM198+ per adult or RM99+ for child 6-12 years old).

Here are some of the dishes which we had from their a la carte menu:
♥️ sashimi moriawase (salmon, tuna, scallop, cuttlefish, sweet prawn)
♥️ soft shell crab tempura futomaki
♥️ dobin mushi
♥️ assorted tempura
♥️ grilled salmon teriyaki
♥️ green tea soba
♥️ Yuzu sorbet and matcha ice cream

Everything was really tasty; my favourite has to be the sashimi (fresh and good variety) and the soft shell crab tempura futomaki (great textures, wonderful flavours). Overall, a very enjoyable meal, 5 stars!

  1. Gosh!!! Don't know how long since we last had Japanese. Not dining out because of the pandemic and anyway, we do not have such really nice places here, just two pretty decent franchises.
