CNY 2021: Dine at Home with Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel

This Lunar New Year, YUE Chinese Restaurant at Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel will be offering Yee Sang, two Dine at Home set menus and Poon Choi, which you can enjoy in the comfort of your home via delivery, takeaway or drive-thru.

Usher in the Year of the Ox the new-normal way, with one of the Dine at Home sets: choose from either the Happiness Set Menu (5-courses for 2-3 pax (RM238)) or the Opulent Set Menu (6-courses for 4-5 pax (RM368)).

We sampled the Happiness Set Menu, which feature Stewed garoupa fillets wth eggplant and spicy black bean sauce; Braised sea cucumber with homemade bean curd; Braised black mushroom with fried fish maw and broccoli; Fried rice with chicken and shrimp and Wok-fried chicken with dried chillies and Szechuan Peppercorn. Perfect for an intimate celebratory meal at home, with plenty of auspicious ingredients such as fish, sea cucumber, mushroom and shrimp. 

Portions are generous, and comes in a thermal bag to keep warm

My favourite dish was the braised sea cucumber.. so thick with great texture! And the accompanying homemade bean curd was so yummy.

Yee Sang, also known as Prosperity Toss is a must during Chinese New Year – choose from Fresh Fruits Yee Sang (L) at RM138, Norwegian Salmon Yee Sang with Fish Roe (L) at RM188 and Australia 2 Head Abalone with Pear Yee Sang (L) at RM328. Poon Choi is also available for delivery or takeaway at a price of RM588 per bowl.
