EQ Celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival with Celestial Treasures

In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, EQ is presenting their Celestial Treasures, a selection of lovingly hand-crafted mooncakes, from traditional favourites to six new delightful flavours of snow skin mooncakes created by Chef Tan Tzaan Ling, the Executive Sous Chef. Perfect for heartfelt reunions, gift giving occasions and personal indulgence, the mooncakes are available at Nipah from 3 August until 1 October 2020.

The delectable mooncakes come in sets of either four or six pieces and are encased in elegant boxes with vibrant floral patterns to symbolise the joy of cherished gatherings this season. The two limited edition box sets double up as elegant photo frames after disassembling.

The traditional baked mooncakes come in normal and mini sizes, with flavours such as Low Sugar 
White Lotus Single Yolk, Traditional Red Bean, EQ Signature Black Sesame Single Yolk and Pure Lotus Double Yolk (only available in normal size).

Chef Tan’s specialty mini snow skin mooncakes include White Lotus with Dried Fruit, Yuzu Pandan with Pumpkin Seeds, Taro with Red and Black Goji, Snow Skin Green Tea Red Bean with Mixed Nuts, Rose Lychee and crowd favourite, Musang King Durian.

“I wanted to create flavours that are inviting, delicious and healthy that can cater to both the younger and older generation,” said Chef Tan. “We experimented with textures and tastes of individual ingredients, combining the best of sweet and savoury as well as soft and chewy. The Musang King Durian flavour will definitely be a big hit as we only use the freshest ingredients and guests have been enquiring about these since last year.”

Orders made from now until 31 August 2020 will receive an early bird discount of up to 15%, and bulk orders of 50 boxes or more will receive up to 20% discount. Customisation of corporate gifts is also available with six working days notice. For more information on this offer, click here.
