YOU Fishball Noodles, Seri Kembangan

Last weekend, our trip to Seri Kembangan took us to You Fishball Noodles for brunch. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by the cooking station situated at the front of the restaurant, however just step inside the air-conditioned restaurant and your order will be taken by one of the staff.

Choose between four types of noodles available - koay teow,  yellow mee, beehoon or lou shi fun and indicate whether you would like it in soup or dry (RM7 for small, RM8 for big). They also do curry mee if you prefer that.

Hubby and I went for the dry loh shi fun while the kids had koay teow. The noodles are topped with beansprouts and pork lard, both of which gives extra texture to the noodle dish. We had the small portion and the noodles came with a generous bowl of "liew".. we counted four fishballs, fishcake, deep fried beancurd with fish paste and one fish dumpling (yu wat) along with some lettuce. We also ordered a side of deep fried fish cake (RM6 each) and deep fried bean curd with fish paste (RM1.30 each). Their bouncy fishballs are all made in-house using wolf herring fish. What I loved most here was the deep fried bean curd, which is fried to order... love the crispiness of these with a thin layer of fish paste within. I lost count of how many pieces I ate :P

For drinks, don't forget to try the gingko barley (RM3.20)... lovely and thick, and so generous with the gingko. Thanks to our relatives for bringing us here! :)
