This year, the cupids at Traders Hotel, Kuala Lumpur will be presenting three different menus for Valentine's Day to celebrate the month of love. Valentine's Dinner (6-course Menu) at Gobo Upstairs

It was love at first sight, as he stared into her beautiful eyes. She smiled back, and it gave him butterflies in his stomach. The oysters were luscious and plump, and you can taste the sea as you slurp it down.

Pacific oysters with caviar and lemon essence

We had our first kiss. It was the most wonderful feeling in the world. The Seafood Mosaic was a collection of my favorite seafood - marinated scallops, shrimps, smoked salmon and crab, all stacked up beautifully along with avocado. Looks pretty and super tasty.

Very quickly, we fell head over heels in love with each other. It's hard not to fall in love with the Chicken consomme soup, poured over two crispy chicken wonton - so simple yet full of flavour.

Two hearts beat as one, just like lemon and lime to make this deliciously smooth sorbet.

I will love you, always and forever.  For mains, diners can choose between Pan seared cod fish or Rack or lamb with garlic and herbs. It's hard not to love the moist, flaky cod fish paired with potato fondant and sorrel cream. Meat lovers will enjoy the tender lamb serve with curried couscous and garlic puree.

I surrender myself to you, irrevocably. This beautiful sweet platter which includes raspberry petit gateau, mille feuille, mousse, pavlova and edible white chocolate candle will have you surrendering yourself to its seduction.

Valentine's Set Menu (4-Course) at Traders Club Lounge

Traders Hotel, Kuala Lumpur will also be offering an exclusive 4-course dinner menu as well as two glasses of Prosecco and free flow wine up at the Traders Club Lounge on Level 32, on 14 February 2018 only. Dine to the spectacular views of the dazzling Petronas Twin Towers, throughout the night. This menu is available at RM750 nett per couple and will also include a complimentary rose hand bouquet for the lady.

Start your meal with the Amberjack Carpaccio, thinly sliced raw amberjack fish, topped with pickled fennel, salmon roe, black caviar and dill aioli. I loved the light refreshing flavours of this dish. Excellent pairing with the Prosecco.

This will be followed by Momotaro Tomato Soup, and then, for mains, diners can choose to have the Slow braised short ribs or Pan seared cod fish. The short ribs portion was impressively huge, with tender and flavorful meat and served with rich, creamy truffle mashed potatoes. So good!

End on a sweet note with the dessert platter, containing Raspberry petit gateau, mille feuille, mousse, pavlova and edible white chocolate candle.

  2. I've a Valentine's Day promo in my blog too. It's Ash Wednesday, day of abstinence for Catholics...but yes, they have fish in their menu so that's perfectly all right.
