Afternoon Tea @ The Majestic Malacca

Experience Afternoon Tea with a Malaysian twist at The Majestic Malacca.  Available daily from 12pm to 6pm at The Lounge at The Mansion, the afternoon tea is served in a three-tier stand, featuring an assortment of sandwiches, cakes, pastries, scones and Nyonya kuih.

Afternoon tea with loved ones is an afternoon well-spent ;)

It was an afternoon well-spent as we indulged in the delicious offerings while sipping on our tea.   Our experience was further enhanced by the relaxing, welcoming ambiance of The Lounge with its large comfortable teak lounge chairs and gorgeous interior.

Sandwich fillings include smoked salmon, egg and cheese. For sweets, indulge in the chocolate cupcakes, financiers, and panna cotta.

There are also hot savoury items such as samosa and vegetable spring rolls.

The delectable time-honoured Nyonya kuih also make an appearance in The Majestic Malacca's Afternoon Tea. This was Chloe's favorite layer, featuring onde-onde, kuih lapis and kuih pulut tekan (pulut tai tai). The chef kindly offered us some extra onde-onde after the kids declared them their favourite.

Afternoon tea lovers still get their fill of scones and clotted cream here.

You may also choose to have your afternoon tea in the adjacent Library, for added privacy.

The hotel interior is gorgeous! I love the original porcelain tile flooring.

The Afternoon Tea is served daily at The Lounge at The Mansion from 12pm to 6pm, and is priced at RM50 per person.
