The Han Room, The Gardens Mall, KL

As Hubby and I was going to be away during my birthday weekend, we had an early birthday lunch as a family at The Han Room. The Han Room has recently relocated upstairs to the Third Floor, located next to Borders Bookshop (Robinsons side).

Service is excellent as always, and the restaurant feels much more spacious in their new location. Their menu is similar to our previous visit, so we ordered a selection of our favorite items.

Family lunch :)

To start, we had the braised egg noodle village style (RM28), accompanied by the BBQ Platter (RM38 for 2 combinations). The noodles were good as always, and our kids also enjoyed it very much. Baby C had three helpings ;) For the BBQ platter, we went for roast duck and char siew... the duck was deboned as per our request, and it was tender with crispy skin. The char siew was also very good with melting layers of fat. We originally wanted to order 1/4 duck but we were informed that they changed their restaurant policy and there is a minimum order of 1/2 duck. We also ordered a basket of siew mai (RM9) for the kids.

Delicious noodles!

For dessert, Baby C requested for the crystal longevity bun with macadamia nut (RM10) as it looked really cute on the menu. It turned out to be really tasty too. We also had the baked mini egg tart (RM7).
