Sage Restaurant, The Gardens Residences, KL

For Mother's Day this year, Hubby took both me and my mum to Sage for a lovely meal. Seeing as we're celebrating a special occasion, we went off menu... thanks Chef Daniel for the special arrangement!

We started off our meal with this delicious cold starter - the hamachi with uni and caviar.. super good! I wish I could have another serving of this. Everything about it was just perfect ;)

Picture perfect as well!

Next appetizer to arrive is the sea scallops with pan seared foie gras and white asparagus. So much food love on one plate :)

Yuzu granite to cleanse the palate

Wagyu striploin... need I say more? The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and melt-in-the-mouth ;)

Calpis ice souffle with yuzu anglaise

2 types of artisanal and fermier cheese with dried fruits and homemade walnut bread

Thanks Hubby for the treat! :)

Since it was also Grandma's birthday week, kids made pizza for dinner as well as decorated some muffins ;) Well done babysumokids!
