In support of the needy and less privileged, Electrolux Home Appliances Sdn Bhd is organising Washing-Thon (washing marathon) on 1- 4 November at Citta Mall. The idea is to collect donated clothes and continuously wash, dry and fold all donated clothes throughout the 4 days. All the clean clothes will then be given to Grace Community Services to be distributed to the needy. Electrolux is also looking for volunteers on 1 to 4 November to help to sort the clothes before washing (to sort the whites from the coloured) and also to fold the clothes once they're washed and dried. Throughout 1 to 4 November, from 10am to 7pm, Electrolux Washing-thon will be a fun-filled event for everyone and a fun family day out featuring a variety of games for kids and adults, as well as a great initiative for active volunteerism to help the community. ReplyDeleteThanks, I'll try to drop by. I have jeans and slacks that are in good condition, but I can't fit into them anymore, and I don't think I'll ever be able to again (argh!)
