Some Like It Green by Madame Lawrence Aboucaya @ The Pomelo Restaurant, The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, Ipoh

From 26th October until 6th November 2011, a special event called "Some Like It Green", featuring vegetarian and spa cuisine will be happening at The Pomelo Restaurant located in The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, Ipoh. French Star Chef, Madame Lawrence Aboucaya will present a series of dinners, brunches and high energy cooking classes featuring delicious organic vegetarian food that is easy to prepare without having to alter your daily routine.

Madame Aboucaya is an expert in organic cuisine with a passion for sprouted grains. Her restaurant, Pousse-Pousse in Paris, literally means Sprout-Sprout in French offers a large selection of grains and wheatgrass shots .

The world renowned chef Alain Ducasse has named Pousse-Pousse as one of his favorite restaurants in Paris. He fell in love with the creativity, taste and presentation of Madame Aboucaya's cuisine. He then invited her to be a guest chef at one of his most prestigious restaurants, Plaza Athénée in Paris, France from 15 May - 15 September this year.

This beautiful adventure, and the active support and admiration from Ducasse, have contributed to making Lawrence Aboucaya "The Chef" for super healthy, natural, good, simple, yet uplifting, happy creative and delicious food.

She has often been described as "one of a kind”.

Bursting with colors, so good in the mouth, Lawrence Aboucaya's cuisine has been applauded by the best French food critics.

This cuisine is best described as gourmet pleasure with antioxidant, anti-weight gain and anti-stress fare.

Best of all, it helps you lose weight!

I have to say... I am really impressed with how beautifully presented Madame Aboucaya's dishes look... who would have thought these were organic, vegetarian food? (Psssttt... don't the desserts look absolutely tempting?)

If it looks good enough to eat, I'm sure it's good to eat!

Healthy food can be delicious too! Well-balanced and rich in vitality.

We eat with our senses: smell, sight, taste, touch and hearing. Therefore, all menus are a photo gallery of colors and odors where one's objective is: the gourmet pleasure.

So, if you're into healthy eating, join Madame Aboucaya at this event and learn how you can rejuvenate your body and regain your energy, sleep better, reinforce your immune system, lose weight and slow the natural aging process.
