Not only are their delicate petits gâteaux extremely delicious, they're super Instaworthy too! To be honest, it was so difficult to choose which one to try cos they all looked so good. We settled for their bestsellers, the Longevity (RM25), Da Bomb (RM25), Beauty & the Beast (RM25) and Unicorn (RM22).
Our favourite was Da Bomb; this is literally the bomb in terms of flavours and textures. When serving, the server will light up a sparkler next to the fuse for you to photograph this dessert. This is made up of 63% dark chocolate and Madagascar vanilla ice cream, with hazelnut crunch, chocolate hazelnut praline ganache, dark chocolate dip and gold almond crumble. Perfect for chocolate lovers!
The Longevity takes after the steamed peach bun commonly served on birthdays and eaten to represent a long life. Here at Crème De La Crème, the peach is still served in a dim sum steamer basket. However make no mistake, as this is not a steamed bun, instead it is made up of Japanese matcha and black sesame ice cream, mango yuzu compote, lemon curd, matcha sponge and white chocolate dip.
Beauty & the Beast - if you've watched the movie, you'll be familiar with the enchanted rose encased in the glass case. This seems to be a really popular choice with the couples - a rose which you can eat, why not? 63% dark chocolate and Madagascar vanilla ice cream, morello cherry sorbet, dark chocolate crumble, chewy chocolate brownie, almond nibs and dark chocolate dip.
Unicorn - our girl loves unicorns, so this was a natural choice for her. Madagascar vanilla ice cream, lychee and raspberry sorbet, white chocolate dip and crispy meringues - this was rather light and refreshing.
Refreshing Mango and passion fruit sorbet
In addition, you will also find some really scrumptious drinks here such as the Matcha Monster (RM18). They use Niko Neko Kyoto matcha and as you sip the drink, you will also find chewy brown sugar boba inside. The drink is also topped with a homemade chewy matcha cookie monster on top (very cute, and you can stick your straw through it's mouth to get to the drink). #BobaLover is happy!
In conjunction with the Mid-Autumn Festival, Crème De La Crème has also created four new petits gâteaux in a limited-edition mooncake giftset, priced at RM129 for a box set of four.
