Our staycation kicked off with a delicious dim sum lunch at Tai Zi Heen, located on the first floor of the hotel. Tai Zi Heen's new All-You-Can-Eat menu is as good as ever, we certainly enjoyed our lunch here. After lunch, we proceeded to the lobby to check-in. The check-in process was smooth and we soon headed to our Family Suite, located at the Residence wing.
We were amazed by the vastness of the 2-bedroom Family Suite (1150 sq ft). The kids of course were super excited when they saw that they had their own room for the night, and their excitement was further elevated by the sight of the bunk beds in the kids bedroom. Cute and cuddly soft toys adorn the beds, a welcoming sight for the kids.
As a parent, I was very impressed with the kids bedroom, which has obviously been well thought out, in terms of space, functionality and fun factor. In the bunk bed drawers, you will find toys such as building blocks, diggers and more. The room is also equipped with a PlayStation and beanbags, which proved to be super fun as we challenged each other and worked together to complete the levels in the Lego Jurassic World game.
The kids bedroom comes with their own en-suite bathroom, which has a bathtub, sink and toilet. Bathtime is much more fun, thanks to the cute bath toys, plastic cups and even kid-sized bathrobes. :)
That's not all - come bedtime, turn off the lights and your child will literally see twinkling stars as the walls are dotted with glow-in-the-dark decorations.
The kids really loved the Family Suite, and so did we - as there was lots to do in the room and for the kids to self-entertain, us parents got to sit back and relax too in the living room. There are only 2 Family Suites in the hotel, so if you're planning a trip here with your family, do book early to avoid disappointment.
There is a separate bedroom with a king-sized bedroom, with a separate shower and bath. The room and bathroom are well-equipped with 32" LCD TV, hair dryer, C.O. Bigelow amenities, bath robes, in-room safe, and alarm clock. The beds are really comfortable, along with blackout curtains, we had a restful sleep.
The Residences incorporate the convenience and luxury of a 5-star hotel stay with the priceless comforts of home living. Staying true to the concept of home away from home, the Family Suite also comes with a kitchen, as well as living area and work area with a writing desk. The kitchen is well-equipped with microwave, fridge, rice cooker, pans and pots, toaster, gas cooker, oven and diningware. There is also a LCD TV as well as a DVD player in the living area. Complimentary wifi connection is available throughout the hotel.
Panorama window in the living area, for you to enjoy the view
Breakfast is served at Living Space, dedicated for guests of the serviced residences. Guests can also enjoy snacks and drinks, watch a movie or live football in the home theatre.
If you're not booked into the Family Suite, no worries as there is also The Zone, equipped with Xbox, PlayStation and iMac, as well as recreational facilities (slide) to entertain your kids. Not the forgetting the swimming pool, which is perfect for a fun morning or afternoon with your kids.
BabySumoKids ready for pooltime!
There are 3 pools here - a kids pool (0.6m), a jacuzzi/dipping pool and a regular-sized pool.
Pullman KLCC is conveniently located near Bukit Bintang shopping area, as well as dining and entertainment hotspots. However, there are also lots of great dining options here - Eccucino for all-day dining and buffet, Tai Zi Heen for Chinese, and Enju for Japanese, to satiate your food cravings.
