Moo Cow Frozen Yogurt @ The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur

Yummy yummy in my tummy...

Baby C with her froyo

It was the school holidays last week. Baby C has been asking me to take her for froyo (she only wants Moo Cow since she got a free sample before from this place and remembered it) during the school holidays. Since she has been a very good girl, I promised to take her there. Froyo has a little tart taste, but surprisingly Baby C loves it.. maybe cos it's cold and it tastes like ice-cream! Froyo is very similar to ice-cream but is made of milk instead of cream.

This dessert is not only delicious, it is also low in calories and high in calcium and protein. In fact, it contains a higher content of calcium per 100g when compared to milk and cheese!  Moo Cow is the most impressive frozen yogurt in terms of calcium content, with a whopping 844.3mg of calcium per 100g serving.

Other than being high in calcium, FroYo also contains all the beneficial ingredients of yogurt such as probiotics (the “good bacteria”) with health benefits ranging from boosting the immune system, helping digestion, lowering cholesterol as well as combating stress and allergies. Frozen yoghurt needs to have 107 viable “live and active” lactic acid bacteria per gram at time of manufacture in order to be effective, and Moo Cow contains 1.8 x 107 acido philusbifidus thermophilus, as analysed by the Chemical Laboratory of Malaysia.

Here at Moo Cow, you can either get the original flavour or the flavours of the month. The original flavour with one topping is RM9.90 and additional topping is RM1. We chose the original with chocolate chips. The froyo is creamy and not too sweet. Am not an expert on froyo but this was definitely delicious

Small outlet but very quirky and cute decor

Posing with the "animals"... (told her to pretend she was on a farm)

Cute names for cute animals

Making sure she doesn't miss a bit

She sure loves Moo Cow :)

Baby C likes it when the cow at the front goes moooooooooooo

And of course, a visit to The Gardens Mall is not complete without a visit to Baby C's favorite Japanese restaurant - Kita No Zen/Hokkaido Ichiba (you can read my previous review here and here). The food as usual was very good and good value for money.

Nabeyaki udon and salmon don set (RM32) - we always order this, it's one of our favorite sets. I let Hubby have it this time since it's a huge portion and I didn't think I could finish it by myself

Tobiko makes it all better

Chicken katsu set with mini udon (RM28) - have ordered this several times, love the chicken katsu as it is very moist with a crispy skin

We love playing with our food. ;P

And of course, Baby C also got her favorite all butter animal biscuits from Marks and Spencer. The reward for being a good girl.

Cheapest entertainment for kids, watching the fountain... cost = free. LOL
And the best part is that they love it. Highly recommended.

Say hello to Pororo
